Bran Strongbow, 11th lvl abjuration wizard
Human, investigator background (Greyhawk)
AC 17, HPs 84
STR 8, DEX 14, CON 16, INT 18, WIS 12, CHA 8
Skills: Arcana 8, History, 8, Insight, 5, Investigation 8, Perception 5
Languages: common, elvish, draconic, giant

Attack spell (int) +10
Dagger +6, 1d4+2
Staff of Power +5, 1d6+1

Arcane recovery - short rest to recover up to 6 lvls of expended spell slots (5th or lower). Use again after long rest.
Arcane Ward - 26HPs. Whenever I take damage, ward absorbs until empty. Every abj. spell (1st or higher) cast adds twice lvl HPs back in. Can create the ward after a long rest.
Projected ward - whenever a creature I see within 30ft. takes damage, I can use my reaction to have ward absorb up to current ward HPs.
Improved abjuration - any abj. spell requiring ability check as part of casting gets +4 to roll.

Feats
Resilient (CON)
+2 INT
War Caster - advantage on CON saves to maintain concentration on spells. When hostile creature's movement provokes AoO, use reaction to cast spell at it. Spell must have casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.

Staff of Power Spells: (20 Charges)
Cone of Cold 5 charges
Levitate 2 charges
Fireball (5th) 5 charges
Globe of invulnerability 6 charges
Hold monster 5 charges
Levitate 2 charges
Lightning bolt (5th) 5 charges
Magic Missile 1 charge
Ray of enfeeblement 1 charge
wall of force 5 charges

Pearl of Power
Use std. action to regain 1 expended spell slot up to 3rd. Can't be used again till next dawn

Contingency - Surprised in Combat = greater invisibility
